Since the establishment of PHEI National Law Academy, the preparatory department provides training of 9th and 11th grade students, graduates of previous years for external independent evaluation, and preparation for admission to the Academy and Ukrainian Law Schools is carried out by the preparatory department.
Training takes place in the form of theoretical and practical classes, testing and independent work under the guidance of teachers. Preparatory courses are provided to persons who have basic secondary education, complete general secondary education, specialized secondary education and persons who have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree.
Training is conducted on Saturdays and Sundays.

Upon completion of the final attestation at the Academy of Mathematics, graduates of the preparatory department, who were preparing for admission and who receive state support, may be awarded additional points to the competitive assessment of the entrant for admission to Legal institutions of higher education of Ukraine – partners of NLA.
The National Law Academy prepares applicants for admission to the world-famous higher education institutions of the “Ivy League” and Russell Group.
The pedagogical council of NLA developed training program that includes a systematized educational mechanism that allows to effectively prepare the future student for admission to:

NLA guarantees comprehensive support and communication, an individual approach and a personal training program for its students. A mentor assigned to each student of the Academy will help and consult with the program objectives of the course and the difficulties that may arise during the training. However, the Academy, like any other educational institution, cannot provide a final guarantee of admission to the above list of universities. With a high level of motivation and thirst for new knowledge, students themselves in the atmosphere of the educational process will contribute to high academic results, sufficient for admission to educational institutions “Ivy League” or Russell Group.
The training course is conducted by a highly qualified teaching staff of the Academy with significant teaching experience in rating institutions of higher education in Ukraine and the world.
The Academy provides effective English language training for students whose language skills do not meet the requirements for admission to foreign universities. The teaching staff of the Academy has developed a special program English for Academic Study, the duration of which is from one semester until the student reaches the required level of speech competence.
